Holiday Lights Are up on Columbus Avenue

Take stroll down Columbus Avenue after dark to see the three-dimensional eight-foot snowflakes up and down Columbus Avenue.  The lights are a departure for us, after years of smaller snowflakes on the lamp posts. Let us know how you like them, and if you'd like to see them repeated again next year. And while you're strolling up or down Columbus, you won't be able to miss the fabulous holiday windows so many of our shops have created. The Avenue is truly alive with color and lights for the holiday season.

Columbus Avenue BID Applauds the American Museum of Natural History's Expansion Plans

Last month, the American Museum of Natural History unveiled the conceptual design for the Museum's expansion, the new Gilder Center, designed by Studio Gang. We believe this dynamic design will be an important addition and asset for our District, and is a striking and impressive addition to the Museum. We invite you to read the New York Times' coverage of the Museum's expansion design here.
